Freeport Host Lion’s Club announces Fish Wish Program

The Freeport Host Lion’s Club is proud to announce their new Fish Wish program. This program utilizes funds generated from the Freeport Host Lion’s Club annual Fishin’ Fiesta as the vehicle to give back to the community. The number of Wishes and amount of each Wish will be determined by funds generated from the Fishin’ Fiesta and selection of the wish applicants in order of need.

To be eligible to apply for funding, organizations must be located in Brazoria County and a non-profit organization. They must fill out a Fish Wish application. The application will include the name of the organization, its address, and in 250 words (or less) describing what they want the money for. This year’s applications are due back to the Freeport Host Lion’s club no later than July 4 to be considered.

Applications can also be picked up at Grapevine Gifts, located at 125 W.
